Dash Outdoors operates an adventure sports centre on the public beach at Desaru Coast in Bandar Penawar, Johor. It is one of the broadest single-site operations on the east coast of Johor: jet ski, parasailing, wakeboarding, water skiing, knee boarding, windsurfing and stand-up paddleboarding on the water, with ATV trails, mountain bikes, fat bikes, archery and mini golf on land. Mangrove tours are a distinct part of what they do, taking small groups by kayak through the mangrove waterways behind the beach. These mangrove tours also include a replanting element, so the trip contributes to the habitat rather than just passing through it — a slower counterpoint to the towed rides out front. The centre also runs customised corporate team building programmes, with treasure hunts, code crackers, photo challenges and group games built around the same site. Equipment and briefings are provided throughout, and the beach café on site handles food and drinks between sessions.
